Bucharest Destinations

Due to my lack of Power Point installed, I posted this as a mere text.

"The village museum"




The village museum is an open-air museum located in the Hearstrau Park, showing the tradional Romanian Village life.The museum was created in 1936.





The Dambovita River.







Dambovita is a river in Romania, part of the Danube, having its sources in the Fagaras Mountains, and going all the way in Romania.





Romanian Atheneum





The center of Romanian culture and the place where the international music festival is held, with a great acoustic in the center hall.





The Mogosoaia Palace









A charming old palace in the Romanian Architectural style, with beautiful gardens, 10 kilometers from Bucahrest.





The Cismigiu Gardens







Cismigiu is a public park where many people spend their time; it's a big park with many districts.On special ocassions, fairs are held.



Lipscani








The Lipscani zone, with the main street with the same name is the oldest remaining part of Bucharest. This area is known as the "historical center".




George Enescu Museum







This is a building used by the Composers' Union of Romania. It is not much of a museum and because of the interior tapestry it feels very cramped.
